Sandisk projects develops produces and make trades flash memory cards for a wide range of electronic systems and digital units with products either for the consumers (trough the over 100.000 sales locations all over the world) than for OEM producers.
Moreover, Sandisk   gives under licence her own technology to several field leader companies. In November 1995  Sandisk was quoted in the stock market( Nasdaq/SNDK) and in 2007 the profits have reached 3,9 billion dollars. From the headquarter held in Milpitas; California, Sandisk is coordinating the work of more than 3000 employees all over the world.
In 2016 sandisk was acquired by Western Digital.
